Consultant Marine Engineer
Glenn is a Consultant Marine Engineer based in our Cardiff office.
Glenn joined MTD in 2025. Having spent 19 years at sea with BP Shipping (London) before coming ashore in 2008, Glen joined a leading P&I club’s Loss Prevention department for 7 years. He then worked for a firm of marine consultants in Dubai, Piraeus and the UK, taking on Marine Causality and P&I work.
Glenn moved to Cyprus in 2021 as Technical Superintendent for a major ship management company specialising in VLCC and LNG vessels, before returning to the UK and joining a shipping company in Glasgow as a Technical superintendent.
Glenn has extensive experience in dealing with bunker disputes, including investigation of engine damage claims and performance disputes. In addition, Glenn has wide ranging experience in cargo handling issues on a variety of vessel types. Glenn has JH143 (shipyard auditing) experience and is an ISM Lead Auditor / Company Auditor and P&I condition surveys.
Since joining MTD, Glenn has been attended at and been involved in the investigation of bunker disputes, cargo damage assessments and marine casualties.
