These services are in satisfaction of all major international standards including, ISO9712, EN473, EN4179, NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, CP189, and ATA105.

Courses and examinations at all levels (levels 1, 2 and 3) are routinely conducted at the training centre based in Cardiff. Instructors and examiners also travel worldwide to provide these services to clients.

All main methods are covered:

  • Eddy Current Testing
  • Magnetic Testing
  • Penetrant Testing
  • Radiographic Testing
  • Ultrasonic Testing

In addition the School specialises in structuring courses and examinations in many of the emerging techniques especially those related to composite material inspection.

A team of experienced multi-method NDT level 3 instructors and examiners not only support the training and examination activity but also form the basis of a much used NDT consultancy service. Ranging from an all-encompassing annual consultancy contract to the one-off approval of testing techniques and procedures, members of the team provide advice and technical direction in all facets of NDT. Most serve on national and international committees to assist in the formulation of future standards and policy.
