Marine Consultant
Malik is a Marine Consultant based in our Fujairah office.
Malik sailed as a Marine Deck Officer, with 20 years of sailing experience onboard tanker vessels including VLCC, Product tankers, FPSO, Production platforms and bunker vessels.
After coming ashore, Malik worked as a Marine Surveyor & Consultant for a multinational P&I Survey and Consultancy firm in the UAE region, handling all types of marine claims, inspections & investigations, with particular focus on liquid cargo claims and bunker operations. Malik also has experience in ship/cargo condition surveys, pre-purchase inspections of all types of vessels, P&I Surveys and Damage Investigations, salvage operations and marine pollution and oil spill investigations.
Since joining MTD in 2024, Malik has handled numerous claims concerning oil and petrochemical quantity and quality, attending incidents across the Middle East and Asia.
