Introduction

Nuffield, following their acquisition by the Minton Group, is seeking to expand their Welding inspection operations across the UK.


The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Welding Inspector to join our growing team in Poole, UK. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Welding Inspector within the general engineering sector and possess a current Welding inspection qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Welding Inspector, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conducting the duties and responsibilities of a Welding Inspector, including Visual inspection, preparation of pWPS’s and WPQR’s, witnessing of welding procedures and welder qualifications.
  • Issuing completed procedures and welder qualifications to international standards.
  • Assisting our clients in attaining the necessary accreditation by providing guidance and support.
  • Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and organizing and supervising any NDT/NDE carried out in our workshop or at the client’s site.
